Outline

In response to the Manchester Arena attach Trafford's Educational Psychology Service has been involved in a North West project to design a critical incident training package for schools and educational settings. This work is being funded by the Department of Education and will be free to access

Description

The training has two related but distinct elements;
  • Part 1 Being prepared and responding to a critical incident
  • Part 2 Developing social cohesion within a learning community promoting resilience for at risk groups

Outcomes

The training is designed to enable senior leaders to cascade information back to key members of staff in their own schools with additional support and consultation from the Educational Psychology Service if required
